We reached a nice place next to the best electronic music labels in the world. We quickly rose through the ranks and our label has taken an important place in this area.
What achievement you have attained?
We are in our 23th catalogs, in 2 years of work and music research, we gathered talented artists from all over the world allowing us to have an international audience and to approach the biggest djs of the electronic scene such that: MaceoPlex, Hot Since 82, Green Velvet ... and the list goes on.
Being in the top ranks in the categories Beatport deep house, even going up to rub the largest label in the world and is in the top 10 with the last EP Ryan Padley who was supporting and charter by Hot Since 82 . Hearthug Also with, we reached the 13th position in the Top tech-house. His EP do not rain on my parade was Maceo Plex by charter.
2) How DTD saw his creation? What are the reasons?
DTD Records was created after a series of evenings at the plug under the name Dance Till Death show, something that pushed Amine Abbouz aka Abuz The current manager of the label, to meet his close friends who are also the top producer of Tunisian artists and electronic music scene in Northern Africa for their DTD Records present its project. And since that day, records DTD is composed of: Ghazi Gharbi, half of the duo Children Malins and official designer of DTD, Jihed el Monser HeartHuG aka, a very close friend and the largest producer of our time for us and Hazem Saklebi aka Haze-M, a major producer of its kind and one of the few Tunisian djs to have traveled the world with his music from Loco Dice.
3) Do you think a Label in Tunisia as its chances elsewhere?
A Label has no nationality, a label that is a citizen of the world, then it's the music that makes the difference for success in this field. DTD Records is a label that has already succeeded and will continue to do so.
4) What is the point of having a label these days?
The interest is to have a unique artistic identity, freedom to choose the music that will be published by our label, have infinite knowledge and artist contacts, promote our music through our label and work with international artists and promote any artist worth listening to and mentor in his career.
5) Whether the projects are coming to DTD?
Future projects are showcases with label artists, events in partnership with sponsors, Tunisia, France and Canada. Vinyls outputs are provided for the coming years.
6) DTD will celebrate its 2 years on September 12 that is what is coming on the menu?
It's an evening of reunion with my partner OITC, like the good old days. we celebrate the 2 year DTD Records, and also our climb to the Top 10 this month. We will play the top tracks of 2013 and output pendants which also appeared on Will you leave anniversary on September 22.
There will be djs Montrealers signed on our label as fadel that will play a DeepTech set with a live percussion and a tom-tom. Also Mandiz open the show.
